U.S. Voter Participation, 1990-2010

The U.S. Voter Participation interactive graphic helps shed light on how voters in each state, and the nation overall, participate in each step of the elections process. Users can compare their state to neighboring states and over time across three separate measures of the election process: the number of registered voters, the number of ballots cast, and the number of votes counted.
